The Kingessay.com company website states that it has been in the business of writing services for “a long time,” but we do not for certain how long. We have found customer reviews of the agency products dating back four years. Our review of King Essays is the sum total of a lot of factors – the website information, its posted testimonials, a comparison of pricing, quality of customer service, and a review of a college research paper we ordered.
Offered Products and Services
KingEssays is focused entirely on academic writing, for students in high school, college, and graduate school. It has a full list of products and services available in a drop-down menu in the price calculation link as well as in the order form field details. It is comprehensive and includes essays, papers, reviews, case studies, lab reports, presentations, and graduate level research project, theses and dissertations. There are also footer pages that provide more detail about specific products. Services include editing and proofreading along with help with homework assignments.
Quality of Products/Writers
Here is the “meat” of any writing service. To evaluate King Essays quality, we looked at the website content, at samples, at customer feedback, and at the product we ordered. Here is what we found:
- The quality of English grammar and composition on the website is poor. For a company that states it provides ENL writers, certainly it could have used one of those writers to craft site content that is grammatically correct.
- Customer comments and feedback that we found on the web is not positive. While ESL students were somewhat satisfied with their products, English-speaking students were not. Complaints ranged from poor grammar to old and outdated resources.
- We reviewed the footer pages and the sample products on the site. Again, we were disappointed. Grammar was not good; the examples were all very “elementary” in content and resources and would be adequate for a high school assignment. None of the samples would have been suitable for college level work.
- The research paper we received reflected the same issues that we found everywhere else. It would not have been appropriate for a college-level assignment.
Quality of Customer Support
The customer support department can be contacted by phone, email, or live chat. We used both telephone and live chat and contact the support department, asking detailed questions about policies and products. Unfortunately, although the company states it I located in the UK, the agents we contacted were obviously foreign. We had some difficulty understanding the agent by phone but we did get enough information to learn that they would produce n entire Ph.D. dissertation within five days for $5760.00. This would be a major undertaking and we seriously doubt that this could happen.
Our live chat experience with Kingessays.com was a bit better. However, when we asked questions, we had to wait quite a while for answers. We suspect that the customer support department is actually an answering service rather than actual employees, employed and trained by the company.
Prices and Discounts
King Essays prices fall within the average range. They begin at $10/page for high school essays and move up to $29/page for Ph.D. products with a 14-day deadline. Prices increase with more urgent deadlines. In terms of discounts, there is a promo code for a 5% discount for new customers. We did not find any other discount offers or coupon codes for special pricing for return customers. The 8-page paper we ordered was priced at $142.99, before the 5% discount.
Additional Benefits
Standard benefits are offered – title page, table of contents, bibliography, revisions, and plagiarism check. If you want the plagiarism report, however, you will pay an additional $10; other fee-based benefits include a premium writer and VIP customer support.
Recommendations
Kingessays is certainly not a fraud or scam. But there are plenty of “red flags” as we look at pros & cons. Writing quality is just not good enough for English-speaking students in English-speaking institutions. Further, the company does not have a BBB membership. Customer complaints are numerous, and our own experience was not good. Overall, our rating is “Fair to Poor.”

Do not use this service!
Although the paper was received on-time, it was very poor, it wasn`t of the masters level as required, it was a bad bachelor level paper (They didn`t respect the guidelines I sent and the topic was badly explained).
I had to send it for a revision twice(!), I didn`t have time to send it for a third time, because I had to hand it in, the quality was still poor.
I failed the paperwork and have to retake the course for additional money!!!
Do not use this service! I put only one star because the site does not allow to give any.
As well, they don’t publish negative reviews on their site.
FAIL
KingEssays cannot be named the best resource to ask for profitable essay completion. The maximum which they can achieve is an average level quality for an academic paper of second year student. Everything that is more difficult or upper – would be successfully F A I L E D.
So yeah, enjoy working with them 😉
Terrible
Only negative emotions with the memories of the cooperation process with this “writing’ resource. I am fully aware that my book report would be as terrible as my essay that was done by them.

I have nothing positive to say about this service. I paid enough for the so-called custom essay. And as a result, I received a piece of completely plagiarised text written some time ago (some information there was outdated). What an assistance! Very poor.
Very poor. They failed to write a movie review which is actually one of the simplest tasks you can make up. You watch and then you describe what you have seen. That`s it. Not a rocket science. And somehow it became an insurmountable problem for kingessays. My review wasn’t delivered on time, it wasn`t properly formatted and had such mistakes that a person who really knows English would have never made.
